In 1989 KrAZ sent tests a new model KrAZ-6E6315, which was an attempt to unify the 3- and 4-axle models: the bonneted version received a cabin from a cabover model KrAZ-6E6316. The flatbed truck with a carrying capacity of 10 tonnes was equipped with a diesel engine YaMZ-8425 rated at 360 hp.
