DAF » N2800 / N3300
In 1980 to replace the big-nosed model N2500, which was actuatlly an International Paystar 5000, came a new model N2800. These chassis were designed primarily for tipper bodies. Cabins were borrowed from cabover Magirus Deutz trucks. N2800s were equipped with mechanical gearbox ZF and Steyr axles. The trucks were available with DKA 1160 (230 hp) or DKS 1160 (310 hp) turbocharged and intercooled engines. A new version N3300 were presented later. It had a 11.6-liter series DKX engine with an output of 330 hp and was primarily as a tractor NTT.
