In 1991, DAF during the unification of indexation changed designations of models 600/800/1000 to DAF 45. The range included models FA 45.120 with GVW of 6.5 tonnes with 115 hp engine, FA 45.130 with GVW of 7.49 tonnes with 130 hp engine, FA 45.150 with GVW of 7.49 or 10 tonnes with 147 hp turbocharged engine and FA 45.160 with GVW of 7.49 or 10 tonnes and 160 hp turbocharged engine.
