Atkinson » MK I with Bodyline cab

In 1963 Atkinson briefly tried to woo operators away from the traditional radiator typified by the Suttons/AETS artic with the new cab made by Bodyline Co. Sales were disappointing so the radiator was allowed to live on. Interestingly enough, Atkinson also continued to offer metal paneled coachbuilt cabs long after the wrap-round screen fibreglass type arrived.
