In the 1980s we in Romania were really harsh winters. Because the country was under communism occupation, it was forbidden to buy any equipment from other countries. To resolve that problem Roman developed a special vehicle for snow spreading. It was only a prototype and it never entered in mass production, but few data is known. It had a special engine 180 hp (Roman build) for powering the truck, and for the spreader it had a second Roman built engine mounted on the chassis. The truck was a two axle, all-wheel drive and its GVW was 12 tonnes.
