In 2006, the N-series light trucks were updated in the production programs of all departments, including the US W-series. The new model range included versions NHR with a 2.8-liter Isuzu 4JB1-TC engine rated at 94 hp, NKR with payload of 3530 kg and the same engine, and 5-ton model NPR with 4.6-liter turbo diesel Isuzu 71L 4HG1T with an output of 119 hp. Transmission for all models is 5-speed manual MSB5M.
