Spring 2011, MFBTC has unveiled its new Canter light-duty truck for the North America market on a NTEA Work Truck Show. This is the first international launch of the new generation of Canter model. MFTBC uses the “Canter” name in North America for the first time.

The new Canter is the first new generation for the U.S. market since 2004. All of new Canter models are equipped with the 3-liter “4P10” diesel engine with a BlueTec® technology for the first time. DUONIC™ dual-clutch transmission of new Canter is the first ever use of this type of transmission in a commercial truck in the world. The next modifications are available in US: Canter FE125 with GVW of 12,500 pounds, Canter FG4x4 - all wheel drive truck with GVW of 14,050 pounds, Canter FE160 with GVW of 15,995 pounds (available with Crew Cab also) and Canter FE180 with GVW of 17,995 pounds.

Fuso debuts gas-powered FE140 and FE160 at the Work Truck Show 2018 in Indianapolis. They got a 6-cylinder 197 hp GM gasoline engine and updated interior.
