In 2010 the Nissan Diesel Trucks Co., Ltd. changed the company name to UD Trucks Corporation. AB Volvo becomes a major shareholder in the Company in 2006. The name “UD Trucks Corporation” comes from the phrase “ultimate dependability.” Australia-based marketing company UD Trucks(Oceania)Pty Ltd. acquired in 2007.
