In 1993, the Malaysian company PESAKA ASTANA BHD has entered into an agreement with Roman on sale in Malaysia specialized trucks. These trucks received their own brand AMDAC. Basically, it were the military versions of Roman and DAC trucks, similar to those sold in Romania. Some time later the company has expanded its lineup of vehicles sold under the brand name AMDAC. It included light tactical trucks from ALM-ACMAT and fire trucks range.
