Bogdan 3355

In June 2019, Bogdan Motors presented the Bogdan-3355, an all-wheel-drive truck proposed as a replacement for the aging GAZ-66 in the Ukrainian army. It was built at the company’s plant in Cherkasy. In October 2019 the truck was also shown at the Arms and Security exhibition in Kyiv.

The Bogdan-3355 is based on the 4×4 version of the Hyundai HD light truck and keeps its original Hyundai cab. The chassis was reinforced, and the truck rides on larger 305/80R18 tires. This sets it apart from the earlier Hyundai-based 4×4 models that Bogdan wanted to produce in 2015–2017, such as the Bogdan-3373 with a JAC cab.

The truck is powered by a 3.9-liter (238 cu in) Hyundai D4DC diesel engine producing 120 hp (88 kW). The transfer case has a reduction range. Claimed fuel consumption is 19 l/100 km (12.4 mpg US), and the range is 500 km (310 miles).

The Bogdan-3355 has a curb weight of 3,000 kg (6,614 lb) and a payload of up to 2,000 kg (4,409 lb). Its length is 6,050 mm (238 in) and its height is 2,700 mm (106 in). According to the manufacturer, the truck went through trials in the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2018–2019.

The only prototype has been made.
