It is a race car transporter built by Italian compani Bartoletti, based in Forlì, who made usually transporters for Ferrari, Maserati and many Italian racing teams. This is an ex-Ferrari one. It was built in the Sixties on a Fiat 306/3 bus chassis. Original 2-axle 12-metre chassis was converted to 12-metre and three axles. You can tell it's not a Bedford VAL because of the single axle steering (VAL had twin steer) and the artillery wheel on all axles.
