The new conventional L series has a total mass of 12 to 26 tones and is equipped with new type cabins. The trucks are equipped with well-proven engines OM: 4-cylinder for the lightest models and 6-cylinder for heavy duty versions. The trucks have a minimum of electronic systems. The main details are made by the Brazilian Mercedes-Benz or ZF company. The wheels are diskless on heavy models. Suspension is on a semi-elliptical leafs. L - chassis, LS - tractor truck. The first shown models were light duty L1214 and L1218 in 1989. In 1990 heavy duty models L\LS1625 and 1935 were presented. The trucks of L-series were equipped with an electronically controlled engine, all wheel disk brakes with ABS and air conditioning for the first time in Brazilian range. In 1993 heavy off-road models L2325, LS1935 and LS2635 (6x4) were presented.
