About 800 armored vehicles G3a (p) with two operating stations were made based on the G3a chassis. These vehicles are known as Sd.Kfz.231 with 20-mm cannon and a machine gun, Sd.Kfz.232 with radio equipment and command car Sd.Kfz.263.
