FAW » 新大威 (New Williams) construction

In 2010 the FAW has added a new range 新大威 (from Chinese - New Williams) to its production line-up. The trucks are used cabins from the J5 range, but with a slightly modified design. The main difference between the two ranges is used engine. FAW Aowei J5 is used Xichai engines, while the FAW 新大威 (New Williams) used Weichai engines. Construction series of 新大威 range not hot new, it was released not so far ago. The range includes dump trucks and cement mixers with wheel configuration 6x4 and 8x4. On the comparative image you can see similarity tof 新大威 (New Williams) and J5 trucks. Except of the grille and bumper with new headlights the design of both trucks is identical. Thus, FAW 新大威 trucks are equipped with diesel engines Weichai WP10.300N or Weichai WP10.336N with an output of 300 and 336 hp, respectively.
