12-ton tactical flatbed truck "2628A" (6x6) was equipped with 280-horsepower diesel V8 engine, used for towing a heavy howitzer FH70. Truck tractors "2636AS" (6x6), "2648S "(6x6)," 3850AS "(6x6) and 4850AS" (8x8) were used for high speed deliveries of armored vehicles on highways. The trucks were powered by V10 (355-500 hp) engines and hydromechanical 16-speed gearboxes. GCVW of these trucks could be up to 220 tones. Maximum speed is 80-90 km/h. In 1988, the updated SK range came to replace NG. The new SK range included tactical trucks and tank tractors with wheel configuration 6x6 (models from "2028A" to "3850AS"), and heavy chassis 3538/3644A "(8x8/8x8) with V8 and V10 engines (280-500 hp).
