In 2010 UralAZ-NOSTA (Miass, Belorus) Company has presented the first production model of heavy truck tractor "Taganay-683432 (8x8). The truck has a frame of its own design and a cabin from "Ural" cabover trucks. The standard engine in TAGANAY is Caterpillar C18 engine, turbocharged and air-cooled, working capacity of 18.1 liters, and output of 600 hp and torque of 2,508 Nm at 1400 rpm. The engine is combined with an automatic 7-speed Allison 4700 transmission and two-speed transfer gearbox ZF VG-2000 with lockable center differential. The new truck is made in northern version and designed for transporting semi-trailers with gross weight of 90 tons. It should be the replacement of heavy truck tractors MZKT and KZKT, many of them have already fulfilled their service life. Dimensions of "Taganay-683432" are 8900x2250x3300 mm; curb weight is 17 tons.
