The heavy-duty trucks Actros SLT also received some improvements in 2008. The most important feature is the presenting of the most powerful engine, which was made special for this model. It is a 16-liter V8 with 653 hp and 3000 Nm of torque. GCVW can reach 250 tons. The transmission has a hydrodynamic clutch.
