Experimental MAN X90 was built in 1979 at the plant in Salzgitter. The designers decided to create a "truck of the future" with a cubic cabin wit a cubic "sleeper" compartment, visually and physically separated from the chassis. But this truck is ahead of time: it remains unclaimed. Only in ten years was presented similar Renault Magnum without roof sleeper, but with a very similar design.
