DAF » XF105 Blue Edition

Following on from DAF's successful "White Edition", its "Blue Edition" is now rolling off the production line at its site in Eindhoven. Just like its predecessors in the series of "Limited Edition" models, the XF105 Super Space Cab "Blue Edition" stands out because of its exclusive paint colour and many detailed features. This special series with the impressive Super Space Cab with Skylights, specifically designed for the German market, is a business card for every transport operator. The exterior of the XF105 "Blue Edition" stands out because of its unusual paint colour and the contrasting blue of the mirror covers.

The XF105 "Blue Edition" is fitted with the 460 hp version of the 12.9 litre PACCAR MX engine in a Euro 5 specification. The automated AS Tronic 12-speed gearbox and a final drive of 2.69:1 provide an efficient driveline. The safety features of the "Blue Edition" include an EBS braking system with ZF Intarder, ASR and Xenon lighting with headlight washers. Two fuel tanks with capacities of 850 and 340 litres, as well as an AdBlue tank with a capacity of 100 litres, guarantee a large active radius. And a complete spoiler package, with roof spoiler, side fenders and skirts, provides optimum aerodynamics. Two chrome-plated air horns and attractive Alcoa aluminium rims complete the truck's handsome exterior.

The interior of the XF105 "Blue Edition" also offers everything the most discerning driver could wish for. Standard features include a leather steering wheel, an air-sprung comfort seat, a dashboard with an aluminium finish, a fridge with a capacity of 42 litres under the bunk, an Eberspächer cab heater and automatic climate control. The XF105 "Blue Edition" is also equipped with the acclaimed DAF Night Lock, which offers drivers protection from break-ins and burglary. A complete audio system and a navigation system are also included in the extensive equipment for the "Blue Edition".
