Rally Raid technical support trucks are based on the chassis of MAN TGS 26.480 6x6. The truck can carry up to 10 tons of special equipment, tools and spare parts. Power of the D2676 engine is increased from 480 to 550 hp, exhaust gas recirculation system is turned off, and the turbocharger is equipped with a restrictor, as it is necessary according to FIA requirements. Also the trucks have larger radiator, increased volume air-filters, two fuel tanks (400-liter each), with heated cages and a compressor for pumping. The suspension has dual shock absorbers Sachs, elongated front springs with the course 300 mm (maximum allowed by the FIA) and the additional thrust. Axes are equipped with central lubrication system, the wheels of a centralized swap system. Four-wheel drive is able to turn off (it saves fuel on the highway). Inside the cabin there is a three-position toggle switch driving modes: "terrain" (up to 55 km/h), "highway" (up to 88 km/h) and "race" (to 150 km/h). The three place cabin has a safety cage and Recaro seats.
