In 1949 in Hanover the new model MKN was presented. Index "MKN" says that the MK model was the base for this truck, and the letter N means Niederflurrahmen - low frame. The chassis was designed for installation on it bus bodies. But in 1951 the factory "Karosseriefabrik N. Trutz" from Couburg launched streamlined vans on the MKN chassis. Other bodymakers also made bodies on the MKN chassis. It was equipped with 120 hp (MKN) or 130 hp (MKN26) engines.
