The first cab over the engine models of company MAN were models 620 L1F and 735 L1F. The trucks were unified with the bonnet MAN range. 620 L1F had the payload of 6.2-6.5 tons and D 1246 M4, 120 hp engine. The heavier model 735 L1F with 8-8.45 tons payload was equipped with D 1246 M3 engine with output of 135 hp. These models become a starting ground for the more popular family L1F, which began producing in 1957.
