In 1926 the world's first 3-axle 6-ton diesel truck S1H6 (6x4) with 6-cylinder engine (9408 cm3, 80 hp) was presented. In 1931, MAN began to release the most powerful in the world diesel truck S1H6, which received a 6-cylinder engine D4086B (16625 cm3, 150 hp). By this time, most trucks used ZF gearboxes, dual main gear, pneumatic brakes, and low profile steel frame with welded spars. Also the S1H6 was producing with gasoline 150 hp MAN 2086A engine. With this engine the truck had maximum speed 46 km/h.
