The Z1 model was modified in 1938 and received the name Z2. It had a tipped radiator, like L1 and M1 models had, and was only a little lighter than L1. Payload was 3.3 tons. The power of diesel engine MAN D0530 was 80 hp. The L1 model had been producing from 1938 to 1939 and had 4,5 t payload, 6-cylinder diesel engine MAN D1040 with output of 100 hp and 4- or 5-speed gearbox. 431 such trucks were produced. Compared with the Z2, the L1 had a larger diameter wheels and other rims. Engine was diesel 90 hp. Hood of the L1 was 10 cm longer than the Z2.
