In autumn 1945, MAN proceeded to assemble the pre-war model L4500, which became the basis for a new series of MK with payload of 5,0-6,5 ton, 6-cylinder diesel engine MAN D 1040G 1-2 engines with output of 120-130 hp , 5-speed ZF gearbox and a double main gear.
