In 90-ies. the MAN launched its new family "2000", which included different models with GVW from 6 to 50 tons and GCVW up to 180 m. The new family consisted of light, medium and heavy duty ranges "L2000", "М2000", and "F2000" respectively, which replaced the old ranges "G90", "М90" and "F90".. These trucks are widely used electronic devices to control the operation of an engine, air suspension, driver's seat, air conditioner, as well as anti-lock braking and traction control systems, etc. All vehicles have front ventilated disc brakes, steering with hydraulic system, pneumatic 2-contour brake system. The heavy range "F2000" has GVW from 19 to 50 t. It won the honorary title "Truck of the Year 1995." It is offered in 65 variants with wheel arrangements from 4x2 to 10x4, normal and low frame, different cabins and wheelbase from 2600 to 5700 mm.
