At the international forum "Technology in Mechanical Engineering 2010" the company presented several variants of its new armored truck "Wolf". "Wolf" is a modular vehicle, which will be the base for a big range of army vehicles. New armored truck is the further development of armored car "Tiger". At the exhibition, together with the armored truck VPK-3927 4x4 was demonstrated flatbed version VPK-39272. There was also shown VPK-39273 6x6 with a module for transportation of crew. The trucks can be used as a base for installation of various types’ combat units, such as antitank, mortar, anti-missile short-range and others. The GVW of the VPK-3927 in an armored version is 7500 kg and load capacity is 1500 kg. Russian armored combat vehicles can carry 10 people. Ballistic protection in the base version is 3 units in terms of STANAG 4569. Mine protection level is is 1 unit in terms of STANAG 4569 (after modernization - up to 2 units). On the body of the car can be installed additional ceramic armor. The peculiarity of the family "Wolf" is that it was originally intended as an armored version by installing a hinged frame and a panel of armor and mine protection with the expectation of further increase its level, and in an unarmored version. Installation and removal of armor protection can be carried out by personnel without special tools and fixtures. The trucks of this family are equipped with a new diesel engine YMZ-534 with output of 190 (240-300) HP in meeting the requirements of toxicity Euro-4 and in the future Euro-5. Vehicles are equipped with independent drivable suspension of all wheels. To improve flotation, the vehicles are equipped with lockable axles and cross-axle differentials. For motion in severe road conditions, the Wolf is equipped with down-transfer in transfer case. The hydropneumatic suspension system could change ground clearance in the range of 250 - 550 mm.
