When the new restrictions on the length and weight of trucks came into effect, the Mack company presented cabover models CH and CJ with payload from 3.5 to 6 tons. Totally 478 trucks of CH model and 79 trucks of CJ model were made. Later, the CH/CJ models were equipped with the same cabin as the EC/EB.
