Volvo » FH 25 Year Special Edition

Exactly 25 years ago - 1993 - the Volvo FH celebrated its premiere. In 2018, the Swedish truck manufacturer describes it as "one of the most successful truck models of all time." This year, Volvo Trucks wants to sell the millionth FH and introduces the "25 Year" Special Edition.

According to Claes Nilsson, President of Volvo Trucks, the new special model is not just a reminder of the past 25 years. It also represents "the starting point for our continued successful journey with customers and drivers."

"The first-generation Volvo FH meant so much for Volvo Trucks and the whole industry. It was a milestone; in fact, it was a game changer that totally transformed the perception of a modern truck. Working on the design of the edition truck has been a real honor," says Nigel Atterbury, Senior Graphic Designer at Volvo Trucks.

There are two launch colors for the Volvo FH and FH16 '25 Year' Special Edition, one darker, cool grey tone (Mammoth Tree Metallic) and a shiny red (Crimson Pearl), the latter a modern tribute to the original red cab color of 1993. The special logo 'FH 25' is located on the sides.

The interior of the Volvo FH "25 Year" features orange trim on seat belt stitches to curtains, carpets and reflective safety door decals. The chairs are upholstered in a quilted fabric and leather combination.

The Volvo Dynamic Steering System is available with both Stability and Lane Keeping Assist, and the steering effort can be customized.
