DAF » A50
In 1951, DAF made the only prototype of a fire truck on the chassis of the DAF A50 for the Mobile Columns Corps. It was equipped with a van body with two rows of seats and fire equipment. A 6-cylinder Hercules JXC with working volume of 4620 cm3 and power of 102 hp was used. It has a 4x4 chassis. The mass production wasn't started. The choice was made for the Magirus-Deutz S-3500.
