In 1983, DAF supplied 171 dumpers DAF YKZ 2300 6x6. These trucks with 4450 mm wheelbase belong to the wide Y 2300 military range. The dumpers with the F218 cab are fitted with 6-cylinder DAF DHS825 diesel with a volume of 8250 cc and power of 184 kW (247 hp).

The range of trucks with 4450 mm wheelbase included dumpers with a snowplow DAF YKS 2300. Another version is a 6x6 flatbed truck DAF YAC 2300. It used to transport military loads and different military 20 ft containers. DAF YCD 2300 was a chassis for the CG-20-07 CNKD military containers. DAF YDZ 2300 was used to transport 7800 liters of drinking water.

In 1987, DAF made 78 flatbed 4-ton trucks YHZ 2300 fitted with a 9-ton Rotzler HZ100 / 2-96 winch. They were often used to transport M114 howitzer. DAF YAS 2300 was used to transport C3 VBDN shelters. The YCK 2300 was a truck with a crane.
