DAF » A30 / A40 / D40 / D50 / K60
September 1949, DAF began producing of the first 3-ton military truck DAF A30. The version for Dutch army is based on a civil cabover model Series 30 and features a hatch in the roof and low flatbed cargo platform with benches for 16 soldiers.
Later the model range was extended with military trucks DAF A40, D40 and D50, K60 tractor that worked in a combination with the YF 102 semi-trailer for 9500 liters of fuel, as well as 4x4 A414 and A424 since 1953. The trucks were fitted with 6-cylinder gasoline engines Hercules rated at 91-102 hp and British diesels Perkins with an output of 70-83 hp.
