DAF YA 126 is a 4x4 army vehicle developed in the beginning of 1950s to replace Dodge WC51 trucks. It is a lightweight bonneted truck fitted with an in-line, six-cylinder Hercules 4.6-litre petrol engine. It has an output of 102 hp and 285 Nm. The gearbox is 4-speed, manual. Designed primarily for use as a weapons carrier, radio truck or ambulance/fire tender, DAF YA 126 had a frontal appearance not dissimilar to the YA 054 jeep clone. Totally, 3426 trucks of this model were produced and delivered to the Royal Netherlands Army.
