Vickers-AWD » V-series

The newly formed Vickers-AWD company developed the V-Series cranecarriers mostly made for several major British crane builders except for Coles Cranes Limited who manufactured their own full model range entirely. They were all much improved AWD Industrial Chassis units consisted of a heavy-duty chassis with engine and drivetrain in 6x4, 6x6 and 8x4 configurations, some models also featured a three men low profile Motor Panels Ltd cab and were a common sight in shipbuilding yards, construction sites, large harbors and heavily built for extreme handwork and material handling. The range included several models, such as V518, V525, V551, etc.
