GAZ Group presented a prototype of a highway tractor Ural T25.422 6x4 at the COMTRANS 2017 in Moscow. Its mass production was started in 2018 under the designation Next 7470. This is the first not-AWD truck in the modern history of the brand.
It was developed to transport heavy loads on short and medium distances with GCVW up to 44 tonnes. The cabin has an additional sleeper compartment and higher roof. The engine is YAMZ 653 Euro 5 rated at 422 hp. Gearbox is manual, 16-speed.
