During the process of transition from Ural 375 to Ural 375D, the tractor version Ural 375S was replaced by the updated version Ural 375S-K1. It features an all-metal cabin and place for one spare tire instead of two on 375S.
Ural 375S-K1 was intended to work in combinations with 12 tonnes military trailers. It got a permanent AWD (without the ability to disconnect the front axle drive, as on the 375S) and saved the same gasoline V8 ZIL 375 engine.
