GAZ » 3901 / 3902 / 3903 'Vepr'
(2004 - 2006)
In 2004, GAZ presented a multipurpose GAZ 3901 'Vepr' with an all-metal 4-door 11-seat body to transport crew and tow military trailers. It is based on the shortened chassis of GAZ 33081 'Sadko'. There are two hatches in the roof which can be used as a reserve exit or for shooting.
The lineup includes three versions: GAZ 3901, GAZ 3902 and GAZ 3903, equipped with different engines. GAZ 3901 'Vepr' got MMZ D 245.7 4.75 liters 117 hp engine. GAZ 3902 'Vepr' is fitted with GAZ 562 R6 turbodiesel (3.2 liters, 150 hp). Since 2006, GAZ produced the 3-door version GAZ 330811 “Vepr”. Several prototypes were made.
