At the MILEX 2017 in Minsk, Pozhsnab showcased the new special vehicle 'Storm'. It is based on the AWD chassis MAZ 6317X9 6x6 and is intended for use by Interior Ministry units to disperse riots, demonstrations and other mass events.
It is equipped with a water cannon on the roof, which is powered by the water pump with a capacity of 60 liters/sec. The efficient distance is 30-50 meters. Water tank capacity is 9000 liters. The water cannon is controlled from the central console in the cabin with the help of a display. The cabin got a safety front mask with non-flammable coating. Front and rear wheels are covered with the panels. The 'Storm' is powered by a standard 420 hp YAMZ 6585.10 diesel and has top speed of 80 kph.
