In 2017, KamAZ presented the new light duty model with a cabin from Japan truck Mitsubishi Fuso Canter. GVW of KamAZ 4307 is 10 tonnes. It is fitted with a Cummins ISBe diesel, which is being produced by KamAZ factory. Gearbox is ZF, made in Germany. The first reason of using Mitsubishi Canter's cabin is the weight. The cabin from the Model 4308 is too heavy for the new model. The second reason is the price. Increasing of producing volume of Canter's cab will reduce their price.
