JMC officially showcased the company's first heavy duty truck JMC Veyron (江铃威龙) at the Shanghai Auto Show 2017. This model is the result of cooperation between Chinese company, Ford Otosan Turkey and Ford Motors Asia-Pacific. JMC invested $2.3 billion in development of the new model.
The new Veyron is the Ford Cargo of the last generation, in fact. Chassis, engine and cabin is developed by Ford Otosan. JMC changed exterior design and made it more attractive. The engine of the last generation is also developed by Ford. The truck can save more than 10% fuel compared with the truck of its kind and the emission of oxynitride is 30% lower than China National Ⅴ emission standard. The engine is available in 2 variants: 9 and 13 liters.
