Since 2000, the leader in the class of machines with 6x4 axle configuration was lightweight model T2000 with Bruce Canepa as the driver. The truck was equipped with a Caterpillar C16 engine with an increased power up to 1375 hp. The transmission was manual ZF 5HP500 Ecomat Race. In 2001, the truck took a record - 13:59.6. And in 2003, after making the construction lighter by 1000 pounds, the time was improved by 2 seconds - 13:57.8.
