It was a very unusual prototype mounted on a special low-frame chassis with rear wheel drive electric powertrain built in two pieces. The self-propelled unit was named 'SAC' and intended for preflight preparations and diagnostic of systems of military and civil aircrafts. In fact this unique vehicle was a two-piece 6x2 road train.
The main unit was a short and wide vehicle with a very clumsy and functional low floor all-metal body. It was equipped with working space for a driver, large windows on the sides of the roof slants, one front and two rear hinged doors. The hub of both rear wheels had built-in electric engines, while the entire power unit was mounted in a trailer. It consisted of a 180-horsepower gasoline engine ZIL-375, electric generator GET-120, from which the current went to electric engines of the tractor vehicle. Maxiumum length - 5554 mm. A curb weight - 4 tonnes. Maximum speed - 32 kph.
