Ural » 43221 (4322P) / Range "The Range"
In 1978, Ural built a modification of Ural-4322 bonneted model wtih a sealed cabin with an upper hatch, sealed engine bay, sealed higher flatbed body with rigid sides, and two propellers which was driven by a special transfer gearbox.
This was a quite good vehicle, and not much more complicated and expensive than non-floating version. To enter the water, it was necessary to install a wave reflecting shield. But there was no future for this model. A licensed Magirus-Deutz air-cooled engine was planned to use in Ural-4322P. But special built for this factory could produced only 405 engines Ural-744.10 (local name of this engine), and after the declaration of the independence of Kazakhstan the engine factory was closed.
