Available » CS-series / C.O.E.

Following the end of World War II in 1945, Available continued with its prewar conventional models, but introduced restyled cab-over-engine models. It received a new styling. Modern artistry applied to front end design. Beautiful sweeping lines characterize Available C.O.E. front end design. All surfaces were smooth and streamlined. The beautifully proportioned cab featured wide graceful fenders, sturdy bumper and full vision windshield with double windshield wipers and adjustable rear view mirrors.

Starting in 1948, Available's ten-model lineup of trucks and tractors ranging from the 1-1/2-ton Model 200 to the 6- to 10-ton Model 602, powered by a Cummins HB600 diesel engine, remained constant through 1950. Models designations lost "CS" letters.

In 1949, Available offered a four model specialized cab-over-engine "Truck Mixer Line." The lineup included the 2-yd. mixer capacity Model 400, the 3-yd. Model 550, the 4-1/2-yd. Model 550 SW, and the 5-1/2-yd. Model 600 SW. Waukesha gas engines powered all of the mixer chassis. In 1951, Available added the 6- to 10-ton capacity Model 603 truck or tractor to its lineup that continued unchanged through 1954.
