Renault Trucks is extending its range in 2014 with the launch of a new vehicle, in configurations ranging from 3.5 to 7.5 tonnes, the Renault Trucks D Cab 2 m, developed in partnership with Nissan Motor Ltd. The D Cab 2 m is ideal for medium tonnage urban distribution. This is because its compact dimensions, combined with its cab over engine configuration, and makes it easily maneuverable in urban environments. For perfect driving conditions the 7.5 tonne version can be equipped with automated transmission. The Euro 6 DTI 3 150 and 180 hp engine delivers superior performance with high torque available from 1,200 rpm, making the engines perfectly suited to delivery and distribution activities.

The interior fittings have been designed with the driver's comfort in mind. They feature a dashboard that puts all controls within easy reach. The spacious cab offers many storage possibilities, making the driver's life on board much more comfortable. As for the exterior design of the Renault Trucks D Cab 2 m, it reflects all the vehicle’s qualities, since it is the visual expression of a reliable, efficient and rugged tool.
