In mid 2011, Beiqi Foton Motor Co., Ltd. started updating its model range. The first was a light range H2/H3, which received the popular in China Isuzu style. In 2012 the time has come to upgrade easier and cheaper models. The old cabover cabin, having nothing to do with cabins of H2/H3 range, received new front end, which has now also become similar to Isuzu trucks. The updated models have indices 728 (for 8-ton truck), 828 (for 16-ton) and 928 (for 18-ton). The heavier models 828 and 928 can be distinguished by the larger wheels, another bumper and front arches extenders. Light model 728 is equipped with the 4100QB engine rated at only 58.8 kW (80 hp), and can develop up to 80 kph. Medium model 828 has 4102QBZL engine with an output of 75 kW (102 hp). And this is with the capacity of 16 tons!!! Well, the heaviest model 928 has YC4D130-20 engine under the hood with capacity of 96 kW (130 hp). How do they move with such weak engines?
