In 2002 the medium-duty F-series models were updated similar to the Japanese Isuzu F-series. From the external differences - an updated front end. The range included 3 versions - FTR, FRR and FVR. FVR 33K version was equipped with a 8.2-liter diesel engine rated at 197 hp and torque of 500 Nm, and 6-speed manual gearbox. FVR 23G version had a more powerful 6-cylinder diesel 6SD1 TC-N with direct-injection, power of 270 hp and torque of 1,000 Nm, and 8-speed mechanical gearbox ZF. Lighter model FTR was equipped with diesel engines with an output of up to 210 hp. The lightest model in the range was the FRR.
