In 1957, Albee Rolligon introduced its most famous prototype the 'Albee Rolligon, 7 ton, 6x6, Off-Highway, Transporter'. Built to operate off-the-road, this huge wheel-less Rolligon truck was able to carry a 7-ton payload directly cross country over rocks, swamp, and snow. My father was the photographer that took alot of pics of the rnAlbee Rolligon. I haven't shown him this site yet, but he'll get a kick. He's in his nineties and doing pretty good still.

I was working for Forest Hills Studio in Monterey California in the late 1950s and printed the black and white pictures that are on this page. I still have a few copies that I saved. My favorite one is the one driving across the ditch on two logs.
