The third generation American LaFrance Pioneer III was presented in 1975. Lighting of the trucks has been updated. Above the main headlights there is a garland of special signal lamps, allocated to a separate functional area. The standard for this generation was 1000 gpm pumps, but besides pumpers, the range included aerial ladders, tractor-drawn ladders and rescue vehicles.
