The cabover models of 1954 year were upgraded the same way as the conventional trucks. They've got a new grille, parking lights transferred closer to the sides of the cab, one-piece windshield, new instrument panel inside, and adjustable driver's seat. In standard the trucks were equipped with Loadmaster 235 cubic inches engine with an output of 110 hp at 3600 rpm (vs. 112 hp at 3800 rpm of conventional models). The Jobmaster 261 cubic inches engine was offered as an option. It developed 125 hp at 3800 rpm (vs. 135 hp at 4000 rpm of conventional models).
